Our goal is to help students become more successful, strategic and independent learners.

We work with students who need different learning strategies in order to achieve their full potential, as well as with students who are interested in strengthening their achievement in various school subjects. Tutors at Lansdowne provide specific reading, writing and mathematics remediation, cognitive and learning strategy instruction, and organizational support. The Lansdowne Centre has been a not-for-profit tutoring centre since 1973.
